Splitline license

Splitline takes a one-time license. It is for one person and includes lifetime use and lifetime updates. It is not a subscription.

Splitline has not launched yet, so the terms are announced at launch — join the waitlist to hear them first. What follows is how activation will work once it has.

Checkout is hosted by Stripe and tax may be added. The purchasing Mac is claimed automatically after payment—there is no license key to copy. Splitline validates the device through its fixed entitlement service; a successful validation is cached for seven days and a signed lease may continue for up to 30 days offline. A refunded or revoked purchase is rejected at the next authoritative validation; signed offline access can technically remain until then or until the exact 30-day deadline.
